On October 8, 1979 the matter was again withdrawn, this time by the City Attorney after the Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles challenged the Final Map on the basis that the Tentative had lapsed on September 19, 1978, that no request for extension was made until December 5, 1978 and that the Planning Commission was without power to extend a Tentative that had expired. In the absence of any precluding circumstances, the one year extension expired on September 19, 1979. No further action occured in the case until February 11, 1980 when Susan Gelender requested time to address the Council. Prepared by: James Lunsford Tract 29016
