Introduction
This is a request for a Final Tract Map for a six unit
condominium conversion.
Background
The Tentative Tract Map was approved on August 7, 1978 and a
one year extension granted on August 6, 1979. The extension
required that prior to filing of the Final Tract Map a Certifi-
cate of Exemption, removal permit or vested right be obtained
from the Santa Monica Rent Control Board. To date no applica-
tion has been made to the Rent Control Board.
Alternatives
Under existing City Council policy a Final Tract Map may not
be approved until all conditions have been met. The Tentative
Tract Map was extended in August 1979 on condition that approval
of the Santa Monica Rent Control Board be obtained. The appli-
cant has therefore not complied with all conditions.
Recommendation
It is respectfully recommended that the Final Tract Map be
denied without prejudice on the basis that conditions imposed by
