NOVEMBER 20, 2009
A special meeting of the Santa Monica City Council was called to order by Mayor Pro Tempore
O'Connor at 5:35 p.m., on Friday, November 20, 2009, at City Council Chambers, 1685 Main Street.
Roll Call: Present: Mayor Pro Tem Pam O'Connor
Councilmember Richard Bloom (arrived at 6: 30 p. m.)
Councilmember Gleam Davis
Councilmember Robert T. Holbrook
Councilmember Kevin McKeown
Councilmember Bobby Shriver (arrived at 5: 50 p. m.)
Absent: Mayor Ken Genser
Also Present: Acting City Clerk Denise Anderson-Warren
CONVENE/PLEDGE On order of the Mayor Pro Tem, the City Council convened at 5:35
p.m., with Councilmembers Bloom, Shriver, and Mayor Genser
absent. Councilmember McKeown led the assemblage in the Pledge of
Allegiance.
CLOSED SESSION: Member of the public Joey Fullmer commented on the proposed
appointment of a new City Manager.
On order of the Mayor Pro Tem, the City Council recessed to Closed
Session at 5:38 p.m., and reconvened at 8:00 p.m., with Mayor Genser
absent to report the following:
2-A: Public Employee Appointment.

This matter was considered. There was no reportable action taken.
ADJOURNMENT: On order of the Mayor Pro Tem, the City Council meeting was
adjourned at 8:01 p.m.
