Recommended Action
Staff recommends that the City Council adopt the attached ordinance.
Executive Summary
At its meeting on November 10, 2009, the City Council introduced for first reading an
ordinance eliminating the residency requirement for Woodlawn Cemetery, authorizing
the Cemetery Administrator to enter interment orders, and other changes to Chapter
7.20 of the Santa Monica Municipal Code. The ordinance is now presented to the City
Council for adoption.
