Staff recommends that the City Council adopt the attached ordinance.
Executive Summary
At its meeting on September 22, 2009, the City Council introduced for first reading an
ordinance amending Section 4.68.160 of the Santa Monica Municipal Code to establish
a new marathon route segment and the parameters for authorizing and conducting a
marathon utilizing this marathon route segment. The ordinance is now presented to the
City Council for adoption.
