Recommended Action
Staff recommends that the City Council adopt the attached ordinance.
Executive Summary
At its meeting on June 30, 2009, the City Council introduced for first reading an
ordinance establishing a franchise system for regulating taxicab operations and
modifying existing provisions applicable to taxis and vehicles for hire. The ordinance is
now presented to the City Council for adoption.
