Attached is a copy of a letter dated May 6, 1970 from the Division of Highways indicating their approval of said signal installation and stating that financial details tieould be worked out in the future, It is estimated that this signal installation will cost $15,000, with Santa Monica's share probably being 5,000. I propose to include-this signal in our 1970- 1971 signal program, and would recommend that the appropriation of the funds required be deferred until the construction contract is awarded. BARTLETT L.
