In addition to street opening and widening projects previously approved by the Council, the County Board of Supervisors has appropriated $123,500 to finance one-half of the cost of two additional street widening projects. It would be appropriate at this time for the City Council to indicate its approval of these additional projects and to authorize the expenditure, at the proper time, of the State Gas Tax Funds available for this purpose but inadvertently not yet appropriated by the Council.
