^lransrnitted herewith are the original and four
copies of a proposed agreement between the City and the
Los Angeles County Flood Control District providing for
the cooperation bettiaeen the City and the District in the
design and construction of the 1964 Storm Drain Bond
Issue Projects within this City.
This proposed agreement, which has been prepared
by the Flood Control District and transmitted to this
office for approval by the City Council, outlines the
services to be performed by the City in connection with
the design and construction of the Bond Issue Storm Trains
to be constructed within the City, and sets up the method
and amount of payment to be made to the City by the District
for performing these services.
mhis agreement has been reviewed by the City
Attorney and this office and has been found to agree in all
important respects with the agreement entered into for the
design and construction of the 1958 Storm Drain Bond Issue
Program,
It is suggested that the City Council be re-
quested to approve, by motion, the execution of this agree-
ment and to authorize the City manager to sign on behalf of
the City.
