Attached hereto is a copy of my memo of August 24,
1971 to you, subject same as above, outlining the
personnel, equipment and material required to
complete the subject program under the PEP program.
To bring said memo up-to-date: Stage I is complete;
State II is i.n. progress, and materials for Stage III
are on order, Personnel required to complete the
program have been employed under the PEP program.
However, the funds required to purchase the materials
to complete Stage N have not yet been appropriated
by the City Couneil. If we are to complete the
program in orderly fashion this material should be
ordered without delay,
Therefore it is recommended that the City Council be
requested to appropriate X10,500 from General Fund
Unappropriated Surplus to Account 413-401 and
authorize the purchase of the materials required to
complete Stage IV.
