SUBJECT: Use of Street Planting Strips
A number of Council members have inquired concerning
existing legislation with respect to the use of median
planting strips along city streets. Currently there isn't
any legislation which would restrict such use.
Accordingly it is recommended that the City Council
instruct the City Attorney to prepare an ordinance which
restricts the use of such median planting strips exclusively
to walking or jogg/inJg.
