Discussion
The design developed by MRY Architects incorporates Haworth office systems furniture
and is efficient, aesthetically pleasing and sustainable. PPG has based their pricing for
Haworth Products' on U.S. Communities contract #RQ01-411313-16A. U.S.
Communities is a National Cooperative Purchasing Program created and facilitated by
government agencies around the United States. It is supported and co-founded by the
National League of Cities, and the League of California Cities supports usage of the
program. The City of Los Angeles and Los Angeles County are both Advisory Board
members for this program and are utilizing several of the agreements. All of the
contracts have been competitively solicited, through this process Haworth Products was
awarded the contract. Additionally, Davis County Joint Schools, CA; San Diego County,
CA, and Los Angeles County, CA among other goverhment agencies participated on
the Advisory Board for this RFP.
