SUBJECT: 1973-197LE County Gas Tax Program (C-82),
The reason for the difference between the estimated $110,000
and the $134,947,67 amounts is that prior unused funds have
been. credited to our actual 1973-1g7L1 allocation,
It is recommended that the total $134,847,67 be programmed
and that th.e actual funds be split between accounts X121-g23
(streets), and 4].3-g23 (traffic signals) in amounts to be
determined at a later date, but at least in the amounts
presently budgeted.
The work proposed to be accomplished with these County funds
is itemized in the attached resalutione It should be noted
that there is more work listed than can be accomplished with
the funds available, but listing a greater amount of work
gives us tho latitude to change priorities.
It is recommended that the City Council be requested to
approve the attached resolution.
