Introduction
This report transmits a Final Map for City Council approval of the following
condominium project which received Tentative Approval October 5, 1980:

Background
After public hearing and careful review of the record and staff recommendations,
the. City Planning Commission approved the. Tentative Map for the above project.
The action of the Planning Commission was based on its finding that the pro-
posed subdivision should cause no substantial environmental damage and is in
conformance with aT1 state and local laws and regulations and applicable General
Plan Elements. The. Final i4ap conforms to the. Tentative Map. The License Division
reports that the developer has either paid or agreed to pay t~,e condominium tax.
The Building and Safety and Fire Cepartments indicate that the project meets
present fire safety requirements. Approval by the County Engineer's office has
been received fbr the project.
The subdividers purchased the property June 18, 1980. Exemption from registration
had been granted-for the sinole-family home on the property May 17, 1980. The
house was moved from the property in .June 1980. A buildino permit i~as not been
issued for the six-unit project.

1. Approve the final subdivision map if the City Council finds that the final
subdivision map is in substantial compliance with the tentative subdivision
map.
2. Disapprove the final subdivision map if the City Council finds that the
final subdivision map is not in substantial compliance with the tentative
subdivision map or if the City Council makes any of the findings set forth in
Government £ode Section b6474.
Recommendation
It is respectfully recommended that the final map be approved unless the
Council makes the required findings for denial set forth in Section 06474 of
the Government Code.

AND. APPROVING SUBDIVISION MAP OF
TRACT N0. 40150 ____
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MO'dICA DOES RESOLVE
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the Map of Tract No. 40150 in
the City of Santa Monica be and the same hereby accepted and
approved.
SECTION 2. That the City Clerk hereby is authorized
and. directed to endorse upon the face of said Map this
order authenticated by the Seal of the City of Santa Monica.
SECTION 3. That the City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this resolution and thenceforth and thereafter the
same shall be in full force and effect.
