Introduction
This report transmits a Final Map for Gity Council approval of the following
eondominium project which received Tentative Approval fiovember 3, 1980:

Background
After public hearing and careful review of the record and staff r-ecommend~tians,
the City Planning Commission approved the Tentative Map for the above project.
The action of the Planning Commission was based on its finding that tiie pran
posed subdivision should cause no substantial environmental damage and is in
conformance with all state and local Taws and regulations and applicable General
Plan Elementse The Final Map conforms to the Tentative P4ap. The License 6ivision
reports that the developer has either paid or agreed to pay the condominium tar..
The Building and Safety and Fire Departments indicate f=hat the project meets
present fire safety requirements. Approval by the Gour~rty Engineer`s office Yias
been received for the project,
The Rent Control Board granted exemption from registration on June 5, 1980.
The developers closed escrow on the property July 30, 7980 and the single-family
house and garage avere moved off the property by permit issued August Ik, 1980.

1. Approve the final subdivision map if the City 'G4~fncil finds that the final.
subdivision map is in substantial compliance with the tentative subdivision
map.
2. Disapprove the final subdivision map if the City Council finds that the
final subdivision map is not in substantial compliance with the tentative
subdivision map or if the City Council makes any of the findings set forth in
Government Code Section 66474.. '
Recommendation
It is respectfully recommended`. that the final map be approved unless the
Council makes the required findings for denial set forth in Section 66474 of
the Government Code.

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA ACCEPTING
AND APPROVING SUBDIVISION MAP OF
TRACT NO. 40897
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA DOES RESOLVE
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the Map of Tract No. 4-0897 in
the City of Santa iAonica be and the same hereby accepted and
approved.
SECTION 2. That the City Clerk hereby is authorized
and directed to endorse upon the face of said Flap this
order authenticated by the Seal of the City of Santa Monica.
SECTION 3. That the City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this resolution and thenceforth and thereafter the
same shall be in full force and effect.
