Interim Ordinance Number 2256 (CCS) Which Clarified That Only One
New Multi-Family Construction Project is Allowed Within a Five Hundred
Foot Radius in the City's Multi-Family Residential Districts and Modifying
These Interim Ordinances to Establish the Maximum Length of Time That
Projects Subject to the Construction Rate Program Can Be Delayed
Recommended Action
Staff recommends that the City Council adopt the attached ordinance.
Executive Summary
At its meeting on November 11, 2008, the City Council introduced for first reading an
ordinance which clarified that only one new multi-family construction project is allowed
within a five hundred foot radius in the City's multi-family residential districts and
modified the Interim Ordinances establishing the maximum length of time that projects
subject to the construction rate program can be delayed. The ordinance is now
presented to the City Council for adoption.
