SUBJECT: Final Map Approval
Introduction
This report transmits a Final Map for City Council approval of the following
condominium project which received Tentative Approval March 19, 1979, extended
to December 19, 1980

36656 910 Idaho Avenue Paul & L. Ulilliams and 6 (new}
Clark & Hedrick, Inc.
Background -
After public hearing and careful review of the record and staff recommendations,
the City Planning Commission approved the Tentative Map for the above project.
The action of the Planning Commission was based on its finding that the pro-
posed subdivision should cause no substantial environmental damage and is in
conformance with all state and local laws and regulations and applicable General
Plan Elements. The Final P4ap conforms to the Tentative Map. The License Division
reports that the developer has either paid or agreed to pay the condominium tax.
The Building and Safety and Fire Departments indicate that the project meets
present fire safety requirements. Approval by the County Engineer's office has
been received for the project.
Two units were demolished by permit issued July 28, 1980--with work completed
approximately Auqust 7, }980. Construction will not begin until financing has
been obtained. A July 18, 1980 Rent Control" Office memo granted the removal permit.
Alternatives
State and City ordinances require approval of final subdivision maps which comply
~:vith approved Tentative Maps.

Recommendation
Inasmuch as the Final Map conforms to the approved Tentative Map, the buildings
meet required safety standards and the tax has been paid or an agreement to pay
executed, it is respectfully recommended that the City Council affirm the find-
ings of the Planning Commission and approve said Map.by approving the attached
Resolution.

THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA DOF,S RESOLti~
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the Map of Tract No. 36656 in the City of
Santa Monica presented by Paul J. Lilliams, President of P & L
Williams, Inca and Robert E. Hedrick, Vice-President of Clark &
Hedrick, Inc., partners in Idaho Townhomes Joint Venture; being
a subdivision for condominium purposes of Lot X, Block 42,
amended Map of the Town of Santa Monica Tract, as shown on Map
recorded in Book 39, Page 45 to 51 inclusive, of Miscellaneous
records, records of Los Angeles County, be and the same hereby
is accepted and approved.
SECTION 2. That the City Clerk hereby is authorized and
directed to endorse upon the fact of said Map this order
authenticated by the Seal of the City of Santa Monica.
SECTION 3. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this resolution and. thenceforth and thereafter the same shall
be in full force and effect.
