SR-11-11-2008-1B~® c;tYor City Council Report Santa Monica City Council Meeting: November 11, 2008 Agenda Item: ~ ~~ To: Mayor and City Council From: Eileen Fogarty, Director, Planning and Community Development Subject: Final Tract Map fora 6-Unit Condominium Project at 1920 Montana Avenue Recommended Action Staff recommends that the Council adopt the accompanying resolution approving Final Tract Map No.068538 for 1920 Montana Avenue. Executive Summary This report transmits for City Council approval a Final Tract Map for the following condominium project. The Vesting Tentative Tract. Map was approved by the Planning Commission on March 21, 2007. TRACT MAP ADDRESS SUBDIVIDER UNITS No.068538 1920 Montana Avenue 1920 Montana LLC Six (6) (Mr. Hom T. Shokrai) Discussion After a public hearing and careful review of the record and staff recommendations, the Planning Commission approved a Vesting Tentative Tract Map for the above project on March- 21, 2007. The action of the Planning Commission was based on its findings that the proposed subdivision will have no significant environmental impact and. is in conformance with all state and local laws and regulations, and applicable General Plan Elements. The Final Map conforms to the Vesting Tentative Map. The developer will be required to show proof of payment of the condominium tax of $6,000 prior to issuance of building permit. The Final Map has been approved by the Los Angeles County 1 Engineer's office and certified. by the City Engineer for conformance with the Vesting Tentative Map and conditions thereon, the Subdivision Map Act and local ordinances. The City Engineer's office indicates that there are no required off-site public improvements. Financial Impacts & Budget Actions The recommendation presented in-this-report does not have a budget or fiscal impact.
