SUBJECT: Final Map Approval
Introduction
This report transmits a Final Map for City Council approval of the following
condominium .project which received Tentative Approval August 20, 1979:
-PARCEL ADDRESS DEVELOPER UNITS
12518 1008 Ninth Street Frank & Dagmar Dimster 4 (new)
Background
After public hearing and careful review of the record and staff recommendations.,
the City Planning Commission approved the Tentative Map for the above project.
The action of the Planning Commission was based on its. finding that the pro-
posed subdivision should cause no substantial environmental damage .and is in
conformance with all state and local laws and regulations and applicable General
Pian Elements. The Final f4ap conforms to the Tentative Map. The License Division
reports that the developer has either paid or agreed to pay the condominium tax.
The Building and Safety and Fire Departments indicate that the project meets
present fire safety requirements. Approval by the County Engineer's office has
been received for the project.
A single family house was demolished between MarcYi 30 and April 6, 1979 by a
permit issued March 29, 1980. It is estimated .that construction will be com-
pleted in two or three months.
Alternatives
State and City ordinances require approval of final subdivision maps which comply
with approved Tentative Maps.

Recommendation
Inasmuch as the Final Map conforms to the approved Tentative Map, the buildings
meet required safety standards. and the tax has been paid or an agreement to pay
executed, it is respectfully recommended that the City Council affirm the find-
ings of the Planning Commission and approve said Map.by approving the attached
Resolution.

PARCEL. NO. '-12518
THE CITY COUNCIL OF TAE CITY OF SANTA MOPiICA DOES RESOLVE
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the Map of Parcel No. 12518 in the City of
Santa Monica presented by Frank and Dagmar Dimster, being a sub-
division for condominium purposes of Lot B in Block 68 of the
Amended Map of the Town of Santa Monica as shown on Map recorded
in Book 39, Page 45 et seq. of Miscellaneous Records, Records
of Los Angeles County, be and the same hereby is accepted and
approved.
SECTION 2. That the City Clerk hereby is authorized and
directed to endorse upon the face o£ said Map this order authenti-
sated by the Seal of the City of Santa Monica.
SECTION 3. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this resolution. and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall
be in full force and effect.
