Recommended Action
Staff recommends that the City Council adopt an interim ordinance extending Ordinance
Number 2186 (CCS) until August 8, 2010.
Executive Summary
At its meeting on May 13, 2008, the City Council introduced for first reading an interim
ordinance extending Ordinance Number 2186 (CCS) which was original introduced in
April 2006. The ordinance modified regulations pertaining to automobile dealerships in
commercial and industrial zones and allows existing dealerships to intensify activities in
adjacent residentially-zoned lots. The ordinance is now presented to the City Council
for adoption.
