SUBJECT: A Resolution Rescinding the Housing Element of
the Land Use Plan of the Santa Monica Coastal
Program
At its May 5, 1981 meeting, the City Council directed
the City Attorney to prepare a resolution rescinding the
Housing Element of the Land Use Plan of the Santa Monica.
Coastal Program and stating current policies relating to
housing and commercial development within the coastal zone.
In response to its direction, the accompanying resolution is
presented to the City Council for its approval, approval with
amendments, or disapproval.
