PERMITS AND REGISTERED WITH THE SANTA MONICA RENT
CONTROL BOARD
Recommended Action
Staff recommends that the City Council adopt the attached ordinance.
Executive Summary
At its meeting on March 11, 2008, the City Council introduced for first reading an
ordinance adding Section 9.04.18.075 to the Santa Monica Municipal Code to waive
certain development standards for rental units which were built or created without
permits and registered with the Santa Monica Rent Control Board. The ordinance is
now presented to the City Council for adoption.
