Recommended Action
Staff recommends that the City Council adopt the attached ordinance.
Executive Summary
At its meeting on January 22, 2008, the City Council introduced for first reading an
ordinance establishing distance requirements for targeted residential protests and
prohibiting the use of dangerous sticks and poles in demonstrations. The ordinance is
now presented to the City Council for adoption.
