1 am writing this letter Lo off dally resign my post on the Pier Restoration Cormnittec
Board as of August 10, 2007: 7 am moving to Washitt~~ton D.C: for an employment
opportunity and have appreciated your council's generous trust placed in my
responsibility for the past year. Lhave had nothing but wonderful and substantial
interactions with the PItC board and staff, especially with Bcn Prinz-Knight who in my
opinion, is a shining star in Santa Monica!
I realize this comes at short notice and I regret than. If there are ways that I can make a
transition e<vsier or if you-Would like any input on other candidates interested in the
position that I am vacating, please do not hesitate to let me know.
