SUBJECT: Ordinance Amending Various Sections of the Santa Monica Municipal
Code Relating to Street Performance and the Placement of Property or

Introduction
At its meeting on November 9, 2004, the City Council introduced for first reading an
ordinance amending various sections of the Municipal Code relating to street
performance and the placement of property or materials on sidewalks and streets. The
ordinance is now presented to the City Council for adoption.
Recommendation
It is respectfully recommended that the accompanying ordinance be adopted.
