Certification of Final Environmental Impact Report 99-001 and adoption of a Statement of
Overriding Considerations regarding the demolition of the structure located at 2712 Second
Street.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Proposed is the demolition of a vacant, one-story single-family residence. The structure
is a Victorian vernacular pre-1900 shotgun style house that is also a designated City of
Santa Monica landmark.
The Final Environmental Impact Report prepared for the project is available at the City
Planning Division Public Counter in Room 111 of City Hall. This report satisfies the
environmental review requirement for the project.
HOW TO COMMENT
You may comment at the City Council public hearing, or by writing a letter. Written
information received before 3:00 p.m. on the Wednesday before the hearing will be given
to the City Council in their packet. Information received after that time will be given to the
City Council prior to the meeting.
