DISTRICT
SECTION 1. The Clty Plannlng Commlssion of the Clty of Santa
Mon~ca hav~ng declared ltS lntentlon to classlfy all that land
~ncluded In the recently annexed area ldent.l.fled as "Annexation
Number 711 and a Publlc Hearlng havlng been held on February 5,
1979 ~n accordance with the requlrements of Section 9149 of
Chapter 1 Artlcle IX of the Santa Monlca Munlclpal Code hereby
flnds as follows:
1. The property 1S lmmediately adJacent to and
contlguous with properties already classifled in
the Rl One Family Dlstrict.
2. EXlstlng development lS most simllar to and
compatlble with Rl One Famlly Dlstrict uses and
development standards.
3. The publlC necess~ty, convenlence, general
welfare and good zon~ng practice require the pro-
perty to be classlfled into the Rl One Famlly Distr~ct.
SECTION 2. The Clty Plannlng CommlSSlon therefore respectfully
rec0mmends that the Santa l1on~ca Clty Counc.l.l take the necessary
measures to class1fy all that property included ln "Annexation
Nwnber 7" into the RI One Farraly Dlstrlct.
SECTION 3. The Chalrman shall execute and the Secretary shall
certify to the adoptlon of these Findings and Recommendatlons
after which they shall be in full force and effect.
