INTRODUCTION
At Its Aprll 17, 1984 meeting the CIty CouncIl requested a
report on the status of all adopted development a9re~ments. ThIS
report outlines the prInCiple condItIons of the seven adopted
development agreements and reports on compllance of each
developer wIth those conoltlons. The report recommenDS that the
Clty Council dIrect the City Attorney to draft an ordInance to
repeal the Development Agreement with the ~lartln CadIllac Co.,
Inc. , OrdInance Number 1288(CCS).
BACKGROUND
Callfornla Government Code Sectlon 65865.1 and Santa Monlca
MunIcipal Code Section 9818 reqUIre a perIodic reVIew of each
development agreement, at ledst every twelve (12) months from the
date the development agreement IS entere5 ~nto, to determIne good
faIth complIance wlth the terms of thc agreement.
In addItIon,
each development agreement approvcd by the City CounCIl includes
a prOVISIon WhIch requlres a Slmllar perIodIC review. City staff
has performed the required periodIC monItorIng of adopted
development agreements. This IS the fIrst formal status report.
