INTRODUCTION
In FY 1985-86, the Cl ty of Santa Mon lea was awarded a $14, 7fJfJ
grant traIT, the Cal1tornia Coastal COIT,[i,ISSIOn for the Local
Coastal Prograffi (LCP).
The grant was awarded to the CIty In June
1985.
OrIglnally the grant perlod was fraIl, January 1, 1985,
through June 1985.
By mutual agreement between the Coastal

staff,

perlod
has
been
extended
to
December 30, 1985.
If necessary the grant ffiay be extended up to
three year s.

The expend1tures wIll be fInanced by $14,700 to be budgeted at
revenue account #20-932-373-000-000. Addltlonally, the followlng
technIcal appropr1atlon IS necessary In order to transfer funds
from the Mlscellaneous Grants Fund to the General Fund: ($14,700)
at 0l-700-695-000-791 and $l4,700 at 20-700-695-000-791.
