INTRODUCTION
This Report recommends approval of a Resolution authorizing the
city Manager to receive grant funds to provide financial
assistance for preparation of the Local Coastal Program (LCP)
Implementation Program (Phase III).

including revisions to the Land Use Plan and the Implementation
program. The LCP is expected to be released for public review in
the next four to six weeks. After public review the LCP will be
forwarded to the Planning Commission for review and comment and
the City Council for adoption.
On August 28, 1989 the City of Santa Monica submitted a grant

approve a resolution authorizing the City Manager to accept the
grant money from the state of California.
