Recommended Action
Staff recommends that the City Council adopt the attached ordinances.
Executive Sumr~ary
At its meeting on April 11, 2006, the City Council introduced for first reading finro
ordinances. One ordinance adds Part 9.04.08.37 to the Municipal Code to create a new
TraC~sportation Preservation District ("TPD") within the Exposition Rail Right-of-Way and
adds Sections 9.04.12.110, 9.04.12.160 and 9.04.12.170 to the Municipal Code to
establish performance standards for surface parking lots, film and video production, and
commercial nurseries in that District. The second ordinance amends the official
districting map to establish the TPD for the:property within the Exposition Rail Right-of-
Way. The ordinances are now presented to the City Council for adoption.
