The Tentative Map was
approved by the Plannlng CommlSSlon on Aprll 7, 1986 and the ap-
proval was upheld by the Clty Councll on appeal on May 27, 1986.

BACKGROuND
After publ~c hearlng and careful reVlew of the record and staff
recommendations, the Clty Planning Commission approved the Tenta-
t~ ve Map for the above pro J ect on Aprll 7, 1986.
Subsequently
the Clty Councll upheld the approval on appeal on May 27, 1986.
The actions of the Plannlng COITIITIlssion and Cl ty Councll were
based on f~ndlngs that the proposed subd~vlslon would cause no
substantial envlronmental damage and lS ln conformance with all
State and local laws and regulatlons and appllcable General Plan
Elements.

The Flnal Map conforms to the Tentatlve Map.
The Llcense Dl vi-
sian reports that the developer has agreed to pay the condominium
tax.
The proJect has been approved by the Los Angeles County
Englneer's offlce and certlfled by the Clty Englneer for confor-
mance wlth the Tentative Map and conditlons thereon, the SubdlVl-
slon Map Act and local ordinances.
The City Attorney's office
has approved the covenants, cond1 tions and restr1ct1ons for the
Flnal Map as complying with the conditions of the Tentat1ve Map
and applicable laws.
BUDGET/FISCAL IMPACT
The recornmendat1on presented in this report does not have a bud-
get or fiscal lmpact.
RECOMMENDATION
It 1S respectfully recommended that the F1nal Map be approved by
adoptlon of the accompanYlng resolutlon.

ACCEPTING AND APPROVING SUBDIVISION
MAP OF TRACT NO. 44039
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA DOES RESOLVE AS
FOLLOWS:
SEC'IIOl\ 1. That the Map of Tract No. 44039 ~n the C~ ty
of Santa Monica be and the same hereby accepted and approved.
SECTION 2. That the C~ty Clerk hereby ~s authorized and
d1rected to endorse upon the face of sald Map thlS order authen-
t~cated by the Seal of the Clty of Santa Monica.
SECTION 3. That the Cl ty Clerk shall certl fy to the adop-
tlon of th1s Resolution, and thenceforth and thereafter the same
shall be 1n full force and effect.
