Pursuant to streamlined City procedures for reversions to acreage, no public hearing on a Tentative Map is held by the Planning Commission. The City Council conducts the only hearing on a reversion to acreage Parcel Map. This Final Map has been noticed for a public hearing by the Council. PARCEL MAP ADDRESS DEVELOPER LOTS 17276 1934 18th Street Aliaschar Kashani Rafye 1 BACKGROUND The proposed parcel map is being processed for the sole purpose of extinguishing a condominium tax lien recorded as part of a now defunct six-unit condominium proj ect. The property has since been developed with an 8 unit apartment building. The legal effect of the reversion to acreage will be to restore the property to its pre-condominium unsubdivided status. Pursuant to required findings for reversion to acreage (California Government Code 66499.16) there is no dedication or offer of dedication Which will be vacated or abandoned by the reversion to acreage and all owners of an interest in the real property within the SUbdivision have consented to the reversion. The proposed subdivision will cause no substantial environmental damage and is in conformance with all state and local laws and regulations and applicable General Plan Elements. The proj ect has been approved by the Los Angeles County Engineer's office and certified by the City Engineer for conformance with the Subdivision Map Act and local ordinances. BUDGET/FISCAL IMPACT The recommendation presented in this report does not have a budget or fiscal impact. RECOMMENDATION It is respectfully recommended that the reversion to acreage and new Final Map be approved by adoption of the accompanying resolution. RESOLUTION NO. 7502 (CCS) (City Council Series) A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA REVERTING TO ACREAGE TRACT NO. 38288 AND ACCEPTING AND APPROVING SUBDIVISION MAP OF TRACT NO. 17276 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. Pursuant to California Government Code 66499.16, there is no dedication or offer of dedication necessary for present or prospective public purposes which will be vacated or abandoned by the reversion to acreage and all owners of an interest in the real property within the subdivision have consented to the reversion. SECTION 2. That Tract No. 38288 in the City of Santa Monica be and hereby is reverted to acreage. SECTION 3. That the Map of Tract No. 17276 in the City of Santa Monica be and the same hereby is accepted and approved. SECTION 4. That the City Clerk is authorized and directed to endorse upon the face of the Map of Tract No. 17276 this order authenticated by the Seal of the city of Santa Monica. SECTION 5.
