NOTICE OF A PUBLIC HEARING
BEFORE THE SANTA MONICACITY COUNCIL
SUBJECT:
A Public Hearing will be held by the City Council on the following request:
A proposed Interim Emergency Ordinance extending for two years the term of Interim
Emergency Ordinance 1966 (CCS) that established a Design Compatibility Permit for
Condominiums and imposed a Construction Rate Program in the Multi-family Zoning
Districts.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The City Council will conduct a public hearing to consider extending for 2 years the term of
Ordinance 1966 (CCS), the Interim Emergency Ordinance that established a Design
Compatibility Permit for Condominiums and imposed a Construction Rate Program in the
Multi-family Zoning Districts. The current Interim Emergency Ordinance would expire April
21, 2000 unless the City Council extends the Ordinance.
HOW TO COMMENT
You may comment at the City Council public hearing, or by writing a letter. Written
information received before 3:00 p.m. on the Wednesday before the hearing will be given
to the City Council in their packet. Information received after that time will be given to the
City Council prior to the meeting.
