Introduction
At its meeting on August 9, 2005, the City Council introduced for first reading an interim
ordinance extending and adjusting the modifications to fence, wall and hedge
standards, including changes to the hedge definition, allowable hedge heights, defined
front yard area, front yard ornamental structures, front yard safety guardrails, and
terraced walls; grandparenting existing nonconforming hedges, fences and walls, and
establishing administrative and discretionary height modification procedures. The
Ordinance is now presented to the City Council for adoption.
Recommendation
It is respectfully recommended that the accompanying ordinance be adopted.
