Subject: Adoption of Ordinance Exempting Certain Affordable Housing Projects
from the Development Review Requirement in All Multi-Family Districts,
and Conditional Use Permits in the CM, C5 and M1 Districts
Recommended Action
Staff recommends that the City Council adopt the attached ordinance.
Executive Summary
At its meeting on January 9, 2007, the City Council introduced for first reading an
ordinance exempting certain affordable housing projects from the development review
requirement in all Multi-Family Districts, and conditional use permits in the CM, C5 and
M1 Districts. The ordinance is now presented to the City Council for adoption.
