SUBJECT: Ordinance Amending Sections 9.04.08.28.040 And 9.04.08.28.070 Of
The Santa Monica Municipal Code To Authorize The Addition Of Private
Dining Facilities To Existing Restaurants On Main Street Under Specific
Circumstances, Pursuant To A Conditional Use Permit
Introduction
At its meeting on December 9, 2003, the City Council introduced for first reading an
ordinance amending Sections 9.04.08.28.040 and 9.04.08.28.070 of the Santa Monica
Municipal Code to authorize the addition of private dining facilities to existing
restaurants on Main Street under specific circumstances, pursuant to a Conditional Use
Permit. The Ordinance is now presented to the City Council for adoption.
Recommendation
It is respectfully recommended that the accompanying ordinance be adopted.
