In response to YOlll'letter date February 9, 2000. The Public Contract Code provides that if a contractor does
nol specify a subcontractor, he shall perform that portion ofthc work himself. The required COl'trllctor's
Licensc Classilil.:lllion for this project is Class B. There lire no specialty liellnsll requirements since the
contract require~ at least two unrelated building trades or crafts other than rraming or carpentry.
We have four licenslls; Bl (Genllral Contracting), C-8 (Concrete), C-29 (Masonry), and C-39 (Roofing and
Water Proofing) and arc very active, productive, qualified and experienced in all of them. HEGl
Construction Co., Inc has been in business since 1987 and I, as president of this business, have been d~ling
construclion work for over sixteen years as wflll as being a graduate of Civil Slmctural Engineering. We
have rhe proper experience, qualifications, personnel and have all the intentions to mcet Yllur ~p~cifrcalion,
can hire more qualified installers, and make certain our subcontractors will hire subcontractors who ohtain
the necessary qualifications for this project as necessary to perform the pool work and all other work
involved. BEGL Construction, throughout thlls\: years, has performed many recreational and cummunity
buildings, gymnasiums, and other types ofpubJic owned buildings and facilities as well as private projects.
