2600 Beach Parklng Lot
The Recreatlon and Parks Commisslon met ln regular seSSlon on Aprll 22, 1982. At
thlS meetlng a publlC hearlug was held regardlng the problems assoclated wlth the
2600 beach parklng lot. Based upon thlS hearlng and the subsequent dlScussion, a
motlon was made to forward the followlng recommendatlon to the Clty Councll.
Mr. Durst moved to recommend to the Clty Councll that the necessary
steps be taken toward the closlng of the 2600 beach parklng lot, as
soon as posslble, durlng the approprlate nlght hours. Staff is to
report to the Councll on the method of closure to be used, along wlth
costs lnvol ved. The motlon was seconded by llrs. Verge and carrled
unanlmously.
