Emergency Repairs On Civlc Auditorium Air Conditioning
System
Introduction
The Civlc Auditorium air conditioning system requires extensive
emergency repairs This report requests ratification of the repairs
as outlined in Sectlon 2509 S~IC. Funds are avallable for these repairs
In account no. 32-400-621-000-322 (Civic Auditorium)
Background
The chiller in the air conditioning system requlred major repairs
consistlng of dismantling, tube repair, moisture removal, installatlon
of new drler system and oll pump, change of oil and refrigerant,
reassembllng, and adjusting of all controls.
Reconnnendation
It lS recommended that the City Council ratify an emergency
purchase order to Brown's Air Conditioning and Refrieeration Co ,
1808 Lincoln Blvd., Venice, Callfornia in the amount of $8,289 19
for these emergency repairs This ratification is in accordance
wi th Sectlon 2509 of the Santa ~1onica Huniclpal Code
