Introduction
establlshed to help assure the effIcient, smooth operation of
the Auditorlum and requests an amendment to the Resolutions
establIshIng these accounts.
Background
Resolution Numbers 4243 (CCS) and 4564 (CeS) were adopted in 1972
ano 1974, respectlvely, for the purpose of facilltatlng the
AudItorium operatIon. These reports authorIze only Jeremy B.
FerrIS to deposit and withdraw funds from saId accounts. Mr.
FerrIS has announced his reslgnatlon from the posltion of DIrector
of Entertainment FaCl11ties for the City.
Recorrnnendatlon
CIty Staff recorrnnends that Clty Council adopt a resolutIon
superseding Resolutlon Numbers 4243 (Ces) and 4564 (eCS) and
authorIzing the DIrector of EntertaInment FaClIlties, or any
other person appointed by the CIty Manager, to deposit and wlthdraw
funds from saId accounts.

THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA HO:--;ICA DOES RESOLVE
AS FOLL01'lS'
SECTIO:--; 1. ResolutlonKos. 4243(CCS) and 4564(CCS) be and
hereby are superceded.
SECTION 2. That the Civic AudItorium of the City of
Santa MonIca IS hereby authorIzed to establIsh two accounts In the
name of "Santa }IOnlca CIVIC Concerts" entitled 1) Audl torIUI1 Event
PromotIon CheckIng Account and 2) AudItorium Box OffIce Trust Account
WIth UnIted California Bank upon such terms and conditions as are
provided by the Statutes of the State of California governIng public
deposits.
SECTIO:\ 3
That City personnel as named on Exhibit 'A'
attached hereto and made a part hereof are hereby authorIzed to
depoSIt funds in said account, and to withdraw funds from said account
upon warrants and/or checks signed with said signature duly certified
to said bank by the City of Santa Mon1ca on said ExhIbIt 'A'; and
said bank hereby is authorIzed to honor and pay such warrants and/or
checks so signed.
SECTION 4. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoptlon
of this resolution and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall be
in full force and effect.
