BACKGROUND At its regularly scheduled meeting of October 11, 1983, the city council established the policy that, aside from the municipally sponsored Fourth of July Fireworks, Council approval would be required for special fireworks events. During the past year they requested and were granted city Council approval for requests for Fourth of July Fireworks events. This year all Clubs will again meet the required city safety standards as established by the Fire Marshall. The Clubs will also be required to name the city as additional insured on insurance policies for the event which carry a minimum liability of $5,000,000. b'" '-- JUM 1 0 \~i - 1 - .. , ...A . .
