SECTION 7 Race slgns: Promotional signs wlll not be permitted in residential areas. They will be limited to the start/finish area and ether approved locations withi~ City. SECT!D~ a Route Frequency: No approved race route can be used more frequently than once every tWD montr.s nDr more than fDur times per year. SECTION 9. The follDwing procedure shall be used in the selection of the races to be run: a. ~ selection committee composed of one staff representative from the Recreation and Parks Department, Community and EconomiC Development and the Police DepartQent will rev;ew all applications properly submitted within :he deadlines for 'each quarter. The selection co~m'ttee will determine which races will be permitted within that quarter. b. Any ,nterested person may appeal a deCision of the selection committee to the Recreat,on and Parks Commiss1on with 10 days of the deCiSion of the selection committee. c. Any interested person may appeal a dec1s1on of the Recreation and Parks Commiss,on to the City Counc,l with,n 10 days of the decl~ion of the Recreation and Parks Commission. SECiION 10 The mlni~U7L fee for running races in Santa v'on,ca shall be $10,000 (except for those races mentioned 1n Sectlon 4). SECTION 11. The approval of an applicat,on shall be condlt,oned upon execution of a contract 1n a fcr~ sat1sfactory to :he C,ty.
