Renovation of Irrigation System at Marine Park
Introduction
Th1S staff report recommends renovation of the irrigation system at Marine Park.
Background
In the 1980-81 budget, Council approved $32,670 for the renovation of the 1rr1gation
system at Los Amigos Park. Due to the unexpected failure of the irr1gation system
at Marine Park, staff 15 recommending the Los Am1g0S Park project not be performed.
Instead, the 1rr1gat1on system improvements should be made at Mar1ne Park. Staff
wlll agaln request the funds for the repair of the irrigation system at Los AmlgOS
in the 1981-82 budget.
Al ternatives
1. Council may approve the renovation of the irrlgatlon system at Marine Park.
2. Council may reject this change of project.
3. Councl1 may authorize the additional appropriation of $32,670 from the MAR
unapproprlated reserve for the repalr of the lrr1gat1on system at Marine Park.
Recommendatlon
Staff recommends that the Council approve the renovation of the irrigatlon system
at Marine Park.
