Introduction
This report reauests appropriation of ftmds for the installation of parking lot
security gates at Joslyn Park.
BaC~9~d
Council appropriated ftmds for security gates at the Beach, Stewart and Virginia
'Parks at the July 22, 1982 meeting. Council requested staff to rebJrn at the
October 12, 1932 i.!lE.eting after studving the need for a similar installation at
Joslyn Park. This report fulfills toot request, verifying the need for a security
gate installation at Joslyn Park.

Staff reccmnends City Council appropriate $4,000 frOOl the General Fund
unappropriated reserve and authorize the City Engineer to issue a change order
in that aIIDunt to the contractor not\~ installing gates previously approved.
