SUBJECT: Envlronmental Planning Award - Clover Park
Introduction
This report requests the Counc1l to appo1nt a representative to attend the awards
presentat10n on Monday, March 9, 1981.
Background
The City of Santa Mon1ca 1S the rec1plent of an EnvIronmental Plann1ng Award for
Clover Park. These awards are presented annually to commun1ties who have displayed
c1t1zen 1nvolvement, creat1vity and environmental effect In the design and
construct1on of new parks. The City of Santa Monica was considered the top award
for C.P.R.S. Distr1ct 9.
Recoll1llendation
Staff recommends that Coune1l appoint a representative to be present at the Awards
and Installation Banquet on Monday, March 9, 1981, at San Diego, Cal1forma.
