Introductlon
ThlS report transmlts the attached ordlnance,
permittlng the establlshment of flngerprlntlng fees ln
the sum of Twenty ($20.00) Dollars by resolutlon.
Background
The Clty Councll, at lts meetlng of June 28, 1977,
lntroduced the attached ordlnance for flrst readlng and
held a public hearlng thereon. The attached ordinance
provldes that the City Councll may establish a fee for finger-
prlnting serVlces performed by the Police Department. The
fee lS establlshed by resolutlon, and the Clty Councll may
reVlew the fee annually.
Addltlonally, there is attached the proposed
resolutlon establlshlng the fee at Twenty ($20.00) Dollars.
The attached resolutlon provldes that it becomes
effectlve upon the taklng effect of the attached ordlnance.

Recommendation
It lS respectfully recommended that the C1ty
Council lntroduce the attached ordinance for second reading
and adopt the same. It 15 further recommended that the
City Cauncll adopt the attached resolutlon.
