SUBJECT. Recommendation to Award Bid for Microfilm Reader-Printer
Bid No. 1658
Introduction
Tnis report concerns award of bid for one new microfilm reader-
printer and accessories in the total net amount after trade-in
allowance of $6.280.50 including appl~cable sales tax. Funds for
this purchase have been budgeted in account number 01-500-402-000-
801 (General Services Engineering Division).
Background
In response to publ~shed Notice Inviting Bids to furnish and
deliver one new microfilm reader-printer and accessories in
accordance with City specifications, bids were received and
publ~cly opened and read on August 19, 1981. Proposal forms
were mailed to thirteen dealers and notices were advertised
in accordance with City Charter and Municipal Code provisions.
