Recommendation to Award Bid for a Seven Blade Power
Mower for the Enterpr~se Water Division. Bid No. 1682.
Introduction
Th~s report concerns award of bid for a Power Mower in the
total amount of $7,939.40 including appl~cable sales tax.
Funds for th~s purchase have been budgeted ~n account number
25-500-671-000-809.
Background
In response to published Notice Inviting Blds to furnish and
del~ver the power mower in accordance with City specificatlons,
bids were received and publicly opened and read November 10, 1981.
Proposal forms were mailed to twelve vendors and notices were
advertised ln accordance wlth City Charter and Municipal Code
provisions. One proposal was received
Recommendation
It is recommended that the award be made to Toro Pacific
Distributlng Company, in the total amount of $7939.40, including
tax, as toe lowest and best bldder
