Introduction
This report concerns award of bid for 1/2-ton cargo van in the
total amount of $7,526 00 inc1udlng applicable sales tax. Funds
for this purchase have been budgeted in account number 11-400-
521-000-802 (Recreation and Parks)
Background
In response to published Notice Inviting Bids to furnish and
de1lver a l/2-ton cargo van in accordance with City specifications.
bids were received and publicly opened and read on December 1. 1981.
Proposal forms were mailed to twenty-one dealers and notices were
advertised in accordance with City Charter and Municipal Code
provislons. Five proposals were received as follows
